I was a 4-H kid and have been sewing as long as I can remember. I started quilting in 2001. At that time I was making a career change and I was fortunate to meet a group of quilters. I took a basic quilt class and went on the first of many retreats. Over the years, I have enjoyed learning new techniques in the classroom and then sharing that knowledge with others at retreats and guild meetings.
I was drawn to Sue's method of applique for many reasons: Misty Fuse is soft and easy to use, the rulers are versatile, and the shapes/designs you can make are limitless. As a SPDCI I am looking forward to showing others how to use the rulers and inspire them to create their own works of art. I am available to teach classes across Central New York.
